The burger bun is slathered in butter and mayonnaise, topped with a handsome serving of French fries and laid with a generous slice of cheddar. If you fancy a challenge, you can add a fried egg or shredded chicken, or if you’re feeling particularly decadent, strips of bacon. The burger is not much to look at, but its overall taste is greater than the sum of its parts. Rs120 for a regular Chip Butty; Rs 175 for a Chip Butty with egg, chicken or bacon.
