Bandra’s sugar junkies will be delighted to know that the suburb will soon be home to an outpost of the popular Le15 Patisserie chain, which is slated to open on Thursday, March 21. A peek into the 250 square feet Wi-fi enabled store revealed an indoor retail area with walls the colours of a rose macaroon (pink and white) and a fenced porch that will have two tables that seat about eight people.

As is their tradition with each new store (Le15 has branches in Lower Parel’s Raghuvanshi Mills and Palladium mall), they will serve a new range of cookies, pastries, and bottled desserts in addition to the tarts, cupcakes and macaroons that they usually sell. Cookie flavours include chocolate with fleur de sel; green tea and white chocolate; and cheese and paprika. The new tart flavours include passion fruit and chocolate; rose; chocolate and salted caramel; and green tea and white chocolate. Fans of Le15′s cakes, which are only sold on order, will be thrilled to find their hazelnut crunch; chocolate strawberry; and Belgian chocolate fudge cakes served by the slice at the Bandra store.

Macaroons will be priced at Rs60 a piece, and mini tarts and cupcakes at Rs50 a piece.
