Attend The Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow

Stand-up comedy fans can get a double dose of laughter this week. While the St. Andrew’s Auditorium will host the Naked Comedy Festival, Blue Frog is the venue for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow, which is part of the ongoing Oz Fest. The event, which takes place on Thursday, November 1 and Friday, November 2, will feature comedians who’ve performed at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. The line-up includes such Aussie stand-up stars as Dave Callan, Harley Breen, Smart Casual (the comic rock duo of Roger David and Fletcher Jones), TV actor Matt Okine as well as New Zealand-born Cal Wilson. The Roadshow will also include Raw Comedy, an open mic competition for desi comics. The winner will be rewarded with a guest spot at the festival in Melbourne in 2013. Raw Comedy heats will be held in Mumbai on Wednesday, October 31 at Soul Fry Casa and in Pune on Monday, November 5 at High Spirits. The finals will be held in Delhi.
