New Nightclub Ghost Replaces Prive In Colaba

In July, we reported that Vikrant Chougule, the managing director of Indage Restaurants, closed down the company-owned Colaba nightclub Prive to make way for “something new”. Three months later, we can tell you that the new venture is called Ghost and will open this Saturday, October 27. Like its predecessor, Ghost has VIP lounges with butlers, reserved for members. Anyone can apply to be a member, so long as they can cough up the whopping Rs1.5 lakh annual membership fee. That amount entitles members to benefits such as package deals on alcohol and a chance to add friends to the club’s guest list. Entry for lesser mortals i.e. regular patrons is via a guest list. To get on to the guest list, you have to call 022 2287 6305 or 98193 00772, reserve your spot and then shell out Rs3,000 (of which Rs2,000 will be a cover charge) at the gate to pass through the walls…er, doors of Ghost.
Ghost is slated to open on Saturday, October 27.
