Di Napoli, a new pizzeria, is slated to open in Nariman Point this week. The restaurant is owned by Jai Thakur, a banker-turned-baker, who underwent pizza-making training in Naples, Italy. Di Napoli will serve salads, pastas and traditional hand-tossed Neapolitan pizzas made with San Marzano tomatoes. The menu includes four cheese pizza (Gorgonzola, mozzarella, parmesan, scamorza); diavola (pepperoni, San Marzano tomato sauce, mozzarella and basil); and bianca al prosciutto (white pizza topped with Parma ham, arugula, mozzarella, and parmesan). The restaurant will also offer Indianised pizzas like pesto paneer and butter chicken pizza. Dalamal Towers, Free Press Journal Marg, Nariman Point.
