An Alibag Home-Stay Just Minutes From The Beach

October 9, 2012 7:50 am by

The one deterrent for any Mumbaikar wanting to make better use of Alibag is not having any place to stay. Which is why it’s always welcome news when one more of the beach getaway’s home owners turns their property into a home-stay. The cheerily named Mango Beach House—owned by Mumbai-based Raj and Lena Mukhi—is located in Kihim, just a 20-minute drive from the Mandwa jetty. The charms of the Mukhis’ split-level home are evident—there are eight rooms, all with ensuite bathroomes, lush landscaping across the one acre property, and best of all, a beach just a short walk away. For those who’d rather not venture out, the Mukhis also have a swimming pool, a gym and in-house staff who arrange three daily meals.

A room at Mango Beach House is priced at Rs8,500 per night, inclusive of three meals. For more information visit Mangobeachhouse.com.

if u r willing to put up with sarcasm from the time u start booking and tons of attitude for no reason, u can imagine what to expect for service in this place. very poor on marketing and basic decency from some dude-let manager called avi. he is capable of giving u jitters even when u begin to contemplate this place that doesnt even have single star to its name! ‘u have come for enquiry to me, i havent come to sell it to u’ he says arrogantly. what a pity!
