The Good Buy: Shirts By E.Z.R.A
E.Z.R.A, a clothing label started by friends Baani Sachdev and Nikita Jain, is not as you might initially assume, named after the poet or the rock trio, but rather an acronym for Endless Zest to Rise Above. It’s a peppy philosophy channeled by the London College of Fashion-trained duo’s pastel-coloured shirts that are airy and elegant, and can be made-to-order from their Bandra studio. We’re fans of their mid-sleeve block tees, and their “cord” ones (so called for the cord that runs down the button line), all made from crepe or georgette in shades like egg shell, salmon, cream and peach. Rs2,200 to Rs2,550.
The shirts are available at Fuel (for locations see here); Attic, Bir Sagar 396/20, Flat #1, Santa Cruz (West), Tel: 022 3216 9292; and Creo, Chinoy Mansion, Ground Floor, opposite St. Stephen’s Church, 162 Warden Road, Tel: 022 2367 2720. You can also order them directly by emailing ezrabnn@gmail.com. For more information visit their Facebook page.
