ACP Vasant Dhoble Might Get The Stick

Pop the champagne, do a little dance or even both. According to this Mumbai Mirror report, the state government is considering transferring Assistant Commissioner of Police Vasant Dhoble from the Social Service Branch to the Santa Cruz police division. If that happens, Dhoble might have to put his hockey stick to other uses (they make great mattress beaters) and Mumbai’s party goers might be able to visit bars and nightclubs again without fear. Perhaps chief minister Prithviraj Chavan is serious about giving Mumbai a more exciting nightlife after all.
