Susmit Sen To Perform Songs From His Debut Solo Album

In keeping with his characteristically understated on-stage persona, Indian Ocean guitarist Susmit Sen quietly released his debut solo album Depths of the Ocean in December 2011. Now a good nine months later, Sen is finally promoting the album with a tour of the country’s five Hard Rock Cafes, which begins in Mumbai this Thursday, August 9. Sen will perform the album’s tracks with a backing band called Susmit Sen Chronicles, which is made up of bassist Anirban Ghosh, tabla player Gyan Singh, percussionist Nikhil Vasudevan, vocalist Amit Sharma and flautist Rajeev Raja.
