MB Recommends: Lindt Excellence Wasabi Chocolate

If you haven’t yet cultivated a taste for wasabi, the pungent root vegetable commonly eaten as a powder or a paste, the inventive chocolatiers at Swiss chocolate brand Lindt might be able to convert you into a fan of the sharp ingredient. Their recently-launched wasabi bar deliciously infuses a slight mustard-y flavour into dark chocolate while doing away with the nasal kick you get when you eat wasabi. The slab—which has a cocoa content of 47 per cent—smells, somewhat deceptively, like regular dark chocolate. The pungent bite, however, kicks in a few mouthfuls down. Rs200 for a 100 gram slab.
