Watch “Settle Down” By No Doubt

The video for American ska-rockers No Doubt’s dancehall-drenched single “Settle Down” was released this Tuesday, July 17, and it’s got fans in India excited not only because it’s their first new material in nine years, but also for the blink-and-you-miss-it moments in the clip. The video features each of the four band members driving their own truck to a reunion party of sorts, and because bassist Tony Kanal is of Indian origin, he gets to man a replica of the kitschy, multi-coloured machines that ride our highways (Harajuku-loving lead singer Gwen Stefani gets a dekotora). Kanal, as this making-the-video clip tells us, is seen driving in India, and among the geographical markers you can spot are shots of Jodhpur’s Mehrangarh Fort and our BEST buses. While the footage has been added on, we give them…er, two thumbs up for showing Kanal holding a bottle of Thums Up in the vid.
