If you’re looking to upgrade from your Batas, then there’s good news on the rubber flip flop front—wildly popular Brazilian brand Havaianas will finally be available in India (officially speaking that is via the AP Group), starting today at Vama on Peddar Road and online via Thebeachcompany.in. They will also soon be available in Debenhams stores across the country and via the Havaianas website. The brand (pronounced “ah-vai-YAH-nas), launched in 1962, has long been a favourite of beach bums and celebs around the world, and according to the company, three billion pairs have been sold thus far. As for the pricing? A pair will set you back anywhere from Rs790 to Rs3,800, depending on the style.
