DOWNLOAD R.I.P. MUMBAI NIGHTLIFE HERE.

How many licences does it take to a start a restaurant, bar or nightclub? Play “R.I.P. Mumbai Nightlife” and you’ll very likely find out. After polling restauranteurs, bar owners and excise agents, we compiled a list of just about everything you need to know, from No Objection Certificates to licences, to the various terms and conditions that govern partying in Mumbai. We then devised a board game to show just how complex (and sometimes ludicrous) the process can be, and got ace artist Lokesh Karekar to illustrate it. Print it out, pin it to your wall, or play a round with a pair of dice. You might not get very far, but as you’ll quickly realise, not many do.

Brilliant stuff you guys! And desperately needed!

Now please…publicise this as much as you can. Send it to all those citizen groups, like the ‘H-West Federation’, etc. etc. who think they know it all…until Dhoble & the police raid their parties.

But please…get as many people as possible to know about it!

  4. poor Mumbai, where are the activists to rise up and quash this stuff… it just strikes me that everyone accepts it and lives in apathy. It’s a sad sad state of affairs.
