WORKSHOP
• On Monday, June 25, Two One Two Bar & Grill, the Italian restaurant in Worli, will host a cooking workshop for 30 people, from 11am to 1pm. The restaurant’s executive chef Mikhail Shahani will prepare wild mushroom cappuccino; panzanella salad; stuffed chicken breast with mashed potatoes in red wine sauce; and zucchini pasta with truffle butter and roast garlic. SET MENU
Yauatcha, the dim sum restaurant and tea house in Bandra Kurla Complex, has introduced prix fixe “Taste of Yauatcha” lunch menus, which will be served daily, from 12.30pm to 4pm. The four-course menus will comprise a soup, starter, main course and dessert. The non-vegetarian menu includes prawn siu mai; har gau; golden fried chicken puffs; and a choice between chicken clay pot or kung pao chicken with steamed rice; and between chicken sweet corn soup and chicken hot and sour soup. The vegetarian menu includes crystal dumplings; shiitake mushroom dumplings; pan-fried turnip cake; and a choice between four style vegetable or mapo tofu with steamed rice; and between sweet corn soup and hot and sour soup. Both menus come with a selection of sorbets. BRUNCHES
• Belgian bakery chain Le Pain Quotidien has introduced a weekend brunch at its outpost in Bandra Kurla Complex. The spread will include tartines, salads, hot dishes and pastries. The menu is priced at Rs1,450 per person (excluding taxes) with unlimited beer, wine or sangria, and at Rs1,250 per person (excluding taxes) without alcohol. • The Khar outpost of the Olive Bar & Kitchen now serves brunch on Saturdays, from noon to 4pm. The menu includes eggs Benedict, quinoa salad, pizzas, vegetable souvlaki, grilled prawns, bacon wrapped pineapple, honey glazed chicken sausages, basa vol-au-vents, dark chocolate pudding and citrus cheesecake.
