Dance to Dubstep for Dogs

BREED.
While the appeal of dubstep to dogs is debatable—this video suggests it does indeed appeal—that most opinion-dividing of electronica sub-genres will be employed this Wednesday, June 13 to help raise funds for the canine kind. World For All, a Mumbai-based non-profit organisation that works in the area of animal care and adoption, will host tonight at Blue Frog “Stray at Heart”, a benefit gig that will be headlined by B.R.E.E.D., the dubstep avatar of Ritesh “DJ Nasha” D’Souza, and Indidginus aka British musician Michael Martin who spins a mix of “dubstep, dancehall and global bass music”. B.R.E.E.D. will be spinning tracks off his recently-released EP of remixes entitled Sound Killer while Indidginus, who may just bring along the didgeridoo that helped inspire his performance name, is likely to play tunes from his new India-inspired EP Sab Kuch Milega. Also on the bill are Delhi-based sound system Reggae Rajahs.
