Starting from today until Saturday, June 30, the gallery is putting up hundreds of art works, by artists both established and emerging, for sale starting at prices as low as Rs500. Most works in the “Easy Buy” section average well under Rs10,000, making this an opportune moment to pick up a work or three. Among the good buys, an entire portfolio of signed limited edition prints from artists from the Santiniketan school in Kolkata (at Rs2,000 a pop), vibrant M. F. Husain prints (Rs10,000 each), and lithographs, drawings and posters by Manjit Bawa, N. S. Harsha, Krishen Khanna, Jitish Kallat, K. G. Subramanyan and Jogen Chowdhury (whose black-and-white charcoal drawing priced at Rs3.5 lakh is the most expensive piece in the collection).
