New York’s Serafina Restaurant To Open In Mumbai

• We hear that an outpost of Serafina—New York’s popular chain of Italian restaurants known for its “thin-crust pizzas, stellar pastas, and inventive salads”—is slated to open soon inside Palladium mall in Lower Parel. This will be only the second outlet of the restaurant outside of the US; the first is in Sao Paulo.

• We also hear that the all-day cafe inside the Mini Cooper showroom in Santa Cruz will be run by the chaps behind Worli-based Italian restaurant Two One Two Bar and Grill. The menu at the cafe, which is rumoured to be opening in June, is expected to be a mix of  Two One Two brunch favourites such as burgers, eggs and waffles.

• Contrary to news reports that the shuttering of Juhu-based Vie Lounge & Deck is imminent because of a dispute between the establishment’s owners and its landlord, proprietor Basab Paul has said that the restaurant will remain open for business, daily from 5pm to 1am. 102, Juhu Tara Road, Juhu.
