The folks at the Welfare of Stray Dogs conduct regular education and awareness programmes at schools across the city. The next logical step, said WSD’s Abodh Aras, was to engage with kids at “a creative level” on the issues related to stray dogs. To this end, the WSD will, starting this weekend, hold a month-long series of summer workshops for children that cover the fields of art, craft, and writing. Here’s what they’ve got lined up:

Saturday, May 12 11am to 1pm
Story telling Journalist and author Jerry Pinto will get kids to weave a story on the life of a street dog (Ages: between 5 and 10).

Thursday, May 17 11am to 1pm
