B69 Shuts, To Re-Open In New Location
February 1, 2012 4:01 pm by Editors
Perhaps it was too good to last. B69, the city’s grimiest—and some would say indie-ist—venue has closed down. “Both the building and the area around it are undergoing redevelopment” said Shawn Pereira, the CEO of Bajaao, the company that runs the venue. All is not lost, however. The owners are already scouting for a new location at which to re-open B69 in the next two months or so. Hopefully, B69 v2.0 will be sturdier (and stick around longer) than its predecessor.
