Juhu To Get A Don Giovanni Takeaway Outlet

This year, Christmas will come a few days early for Juhu residents, in the form of a

Don Giovanni restaurant.

new outpost of popular Italian restaurant Don Giovanni. The establishment’s first takeaway outlet, which is slated to open in the suburb on Tuesday, December 20, is a ten-minute walk from the flagship restaurant.

The 250 square feet outlet, located opposite the J. W. Marriott hotel, will offer a pizza-focused menu with Don Giovanni classics including prosciutto crudo; calzone (closed pizza pie); frutti di mare (seafood pizza); and the pizza bianca (olive oil, rosemary and salt). Unlike the restaurant, the takeaway outlet will serve pizza by the slice, and four-inch and eight-inch pizzas in addition to the regular 12-inch pies. The menu will also offer paninis, bruschetta, Italian cheese, pasta sauces, cold cuts, homemade chocolates and Don Giovanni’s house bread, which will be sold by the loaf. While the bulk of the preparation and cooking will take place at the restaurant’s kitchen, the new outpost will have its own pizza oven.

Because they’re opening just ahead of Christmas, the express outlet will also sell gift hampers with a combination of fresh breads, Don Giovanni’s house sauces, cheese and olive oil. Hamper prices start at Rs2,800. Don Giovanni will also offer home delivery within a 1km radius.
