To the list of our inexplicable Western fixations (Bryan Adams, Akon), we can now add Tom Cruise. Perhaps reeling from restrictions imposed on them for the birth of baby Bachchan, the media went gaga with coverage of the Hollywood superstar’s whirlwind tour to Mumbai and Agra. From the breathy recaps we can now conclude a couple of things: 1) Tom Cruise, like all good A-list superstars, is a diva (his demands included organic toiletries in his presidential suite, food cooked by his own chef and the temperature of the entire floor to be kept at a toasty 23 degrees). 2) Anil Kapoor is his official India sidekick and aspiring bestie-in-chief. 3) Aamir Khan is about two inches shorter than Tom Cruise.
