Gourmet Food Sale
The gourmand’s search for imported goodies in Mumbai can often be fruitless and exhausting. Other than a few disparate venues (like Crawford market), there aren’t many places that sell everything you may need to whip up that rosemary thyme-encrusted loaf of bread. Now Gourmet Logistics, a food importer that supplies to the Taj group of hotels among several other five-stars, is hoping to fill the gap by directly selling its products to the public. To celebrate the launch, the company is holding a food sale on October 8-9, where they will sell their entire range of brands from Italy, France and Switzerland. Among the goodies on offer are Felchlin cooking chocolate, chocolate-making tools and equipment, Boiron food purees (blood orange, lychee and nougat cream), DelVerde pasta sauces and pasta, croissants and baguettes from La Rose Noire, bread mixes from Grand Moulins De Paris and Corsini coffee. All products will be discounted between 25 and 40 per cent, with prices starting at low as Rs20 for a small jar of jam. If you don’t fancy making your way to the Worli location, then you can call 4099 7008 or email sm@gourmetlogistics.com to get everything delivered to your doorstep.

Extensive range of products available, although not all on display, they were willing send across any item one wanted. Only drawback was that some products were available in large quantities, which would cater to a commercial baker.
Hope the retail initiative works out – will definitely frequent them.
