Simon Bligh, who performed last week, has stayed back for another round of gigs. Also on the bill are British comedienne Mandy Knight, once described as a “over-excited, over-sexed and over-the-top“, and Canada-born, UK-based Tom Spade. Spade is rarely seen without a bottle of water in his hand. Perhaps it’s the security blanket that helps him maintain the particularly relaxed stance with which he delivers jokes about marriage and kids, and joints and alcohol. He’s visited India before (see video), which should give him an edge while performing here, and we’re interested to know if he does the one about “the eight-limbed Indian baby some considered a God“.
