Tokyo Fresh Sushi at San-Qi; New Buns at Cinnabon

• Until September 15, Good Earth Winery is tying up with six Mumbai restaurants to offer a prix fixe menu matched to their wines. The restaurants are Far East in Powai, Flamboyante in Cuffe Parade, Little Italy, Pebbles and Vie Lounge in Juhu, and Olive in both Bandra and Mahalaxmi. The special fixed price menus will include three dishes that will be served with one glass of an appropriate wine from Good Earth Winery’s catalog.
• Model-turned-culinary show-host Aditya Bal will host a cooking demonstration at Nature’s Basket for the store’s American food festival. Bal will prepare California prunes stuffed with almonds, blue cheese wrapped in bacon, Asian five-spice chicken breast with California plum and nectarine sauce, and a grilled California peach and lettuce salad. • San-Qi at the Four Seasons has a new sushi menu. Chef Kato has returned from a shopping expedition to Tsukiji Market in Tokyo, considered one of the world’s best seafood markets. He has brought back bluefin tuna, amberjack, Hokkaido scallops, sea urchin, red clam and abalone (sea snails), which he will serve as sushi and sashimi. Four Seasons Hotel, 114 Dr. E. • Bombay Baking Company, the bakery at the JW Marriott, has a new health juice bar. Their low-calorie drinks include combinations such as orange and carrot juice, pear, pineapple and lime juice, carrot, celery and gin juice, and cucumber and apple juice. • American confectionary chain Cinnabon has introduced the chocobon, a cinnamon roll laced with chocolate sauce and topped with cream cheese frosting. • India Jones at the Trident has a new dim sum menu created by chef Ying Zhang. The new options include barbecued duck with sweet bean sauce, braised Yorkshire pork loin with Chinese black beans, and steamed asparagus and vegetable dumpling. The menu also has a range of dessert dim sums like egg tart and sweet red bean dim sum, and steamed wheat buns filled with buttered corn custard. The restaurant is also offering an unlimited dim sum set-lunch priced at Rs1,250 per person. Trident, Nariman Point. Tel: 6632 4343.
