Deepika Padukone on Two Fall Covers

September 2, 2010 11:46 am by Editors

Deepika Padukone is on the cover of two September issues, looking not so very different despite sporting different hair-dos and clothes. Striking the same shoulders back-boobs out pose on both, Deepika looks like a reigning beauty queen surveying her field of minions (don’t miss the “hands-folded-in-lap, ready-to-take-your-question” Ms India stance on the Verve cover). Though we’re not sure why Louis Vuitton luggage takes front prominence in Verve (actually we do, it’s called advertising!), Deepika does look a tad better than compared to her Harper’s Bazaar shoot. Her wind-blown bouffant overwhelms her frame and the black-and-white D&G dress, which is underwhelming in itself. Which cover do you think looks better? Tell us in the comments section.

I agree with you that DP looks better on Verve cover! Can our photographers try for originality? And can the advert for LV b more subtle? No, we have a long way to go before we get ‘subliminal’!
